Chapter logo contest includes a new logo

February 17, 2009 | by SMC of SLC

We have received more than 50 responses to our Feb. 12 post to help us choose a chapter logo.

One of our members, Channa Connolly (@bananachanna), uploaded some new ideas to our Facebook group page.

The leadership team felt like at least this logo option deserved the attention of our blog audience.

So, here’s a third option for the logo contest.

Logo Option C

Unfortunately, you’ve only got a couple days to make your opinion known.

Either Option A, B or C will be the new chapter logo announced at Thursday night’s social media panel event.

Please comment below if you prefer this logo to the first two we posted.

    Still A. No change there.

  2. Pete Codella, APR

    I like option C.

  3. Cyndee Privitt Holden

I like option C. Great job Channa!

  4. Jon Lackey @zuno

Option A is the strongest by far. B and C will both be difficult to reproduce at any small size. It’s also much more modern.

  5. DeAnn Rowan

    I like C. =)

  6. Mike Kingsley

    Option A

  7. Jack Hadley

option A still beats option C

  8. Tyler Hartle

Option A is still my favorite.

  9. Eric Hoffman

A, but ideally using the SLC font/color/cap from option C

  10. Brad McCall

Why the push on having the mountains in the logo? I’m still for the option with no mountains. If you need to have the mountains, perhaps have the speech bubble be topped with mountains as part of the green space. I still think simple is better. – @bradmccall
