June 17, 2009 | by SMC of SLC

Thanks to SMC of SLC member, Jordan LeBaron, for his efforts to make Thursday night’s event both very informative and useful.

Jordan has brought on a couple additional friends to help round out our SEO presentation. Here’s an update . . .

All About SEO

What does it take to optimize your Web site for search? What are the factors that really matter or has social media trumped SEO?

Learn from several of Utah’s leading experts on search engine optimization — Jordan LeBaron, Chris Bennett, and Vince Blackham — during a 20 minute presentation, then participate in an interactive 40 minute conversation calling on all the Social Media Club of Salt Lake City members for comments and commentary.

About Jordan’s Friends

Chris Bennett
President & Founder
97th Floor

Chris Bennett has been involved in search and internet marketing since before Google was the dominate player. He started out marketing his own sites and would get referrals from other businesses seeing his progress wanting the same results. That quickly changed from being an independent SEO consultant to running an SEO firm, 97th Floor. 97th Floor is entering its 5th year of business, specializing in organic SEO, reputation management and social media/viral marketing. We service clients such as Omniture, Elance, Namco Bandai, ChemDry, NHance, CityPass, Stephencovey.com, Dentrix, Henry Schein and many more very large well known companies.

Chris has spoken at conferences and colleges on the topics of SEO, reputation management, and viral marketing. Some of these include, SMX West, the international business plan competition at BYUH, where he was a judge and conducted a 3 day 30+ hour work shop on internet marketing. He has also spoke at eTourism Summit in San Francisco on the topics of Reputation Management and Viral Marketing.

Vince Blackham
President
Primary Affect

Vince have been in the internet marketing industry for 6 years now. He first got into marketing by working for a company that taught others the concepts to research, build, optimize and successfully run a web business.

He began to freelance his SEO and social media services and, through referrals and other opportunities, built a strong client base. He then left his job and started Primary Affect and 2 years later hasn’t looked back. Vince takes a custom approach to his clients and their needs and loves to know that he is making a difference in each business he works with.
