The third in our series of third Thursday meetings is slated for March 19, 2009.

This time, we really want to hear from you!

Based on feedback received from our chapter launch survey, and discussion among leadership team, committee and SMC members, We the People are scheduled as March’s presenters. That’s right, YOU are presenting in March!

We have planned a moderated, open discussion on the best social media tools. Each person who wants to speak will get just a few minutes to share an observation, best practice, social media philosophy or prediction.

The discussion will be fast-paced and self-directed.

We hope to learn what tools Salt Lake City social media practitioners are using and why they’re succeeding. What’s the return on investment for utilization of various social media tools?

Our motto for the evening . . .

Anyone can share. Everyone can learn.

Social Media Minute on Utah Pulse

The Social Media Club of Salt Lake City is pleased to partner with a local new media publication – in other words, not a traditional newspaper – the Utah Pulse.

Members of the SMC of SLC leadership team and other members will contribute to Utah Pulse on a weekly basis in the Social Media Minute.

The Social Media Minute is published each Friday and includes tips and tools on how to use new media.
