We chose our new logo

Many thanks to those of you who voted on this blog for our chapter logo.

Although some liked including the mountains of our humble abode with the logo, the majority favored the simple approach including the quote bubble and name of our chapter.

Congratulations to those of you who voted for option A. You selected our chapter’s logo!

Thank you to the designers who submitted ideas.

And special thanks to Angie Jantz, designer of the winning logo.

Social Media Club of Salt Lake City (SMC of SLC) supports the central focus of the worldwide organization, which is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

The organization’s four focus areas are:

  • Share lessons learned among practitioners

Social Media Minute on Utah Pulse

The Social Media Club of Salt Lake City is pleased to partner with a local new media publication – in other words, not a traditional newspaper – the Utah Pulse.

Members of the SMC of SLC leadership team and other members will contribute to Utah Pulse on a weekly basis in the Social Media Minute.

The Social Media Minute is published each Friday and includes tips and tools on how to use new media.
